Postage charges below are for the UK, overseas orders are welcome but please contact us delivery charges prior to placing your order. We try to keep postage costs to a minimum therefore we have organized postage by weight, which means if you are just buying one small item you will be paying the correct postage for that item. However as always the more you buy the more economical postage becomes. *Courier service applies to the UK mainland only and excludes Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, other off shore islands, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man. For these areas a surcharge is applicable. If you wish to place an order and you live in any of the areas excluded then a surcharge will be payable, we will contact you for this extra payment prior to dispatch. This only applies to orders over 2kg which are sent by Courier, all other prices are correct. *Special delivery charges apply only to large items such as cages and hutches that are over 120cm, these items state clearly on their information page that postage is at the 'Special Delivery' rate. NB: We reserve the right to send any item/package by an alternative faster method if available. Undelivered Parcels Couriers and Royal Mail will leave a card if you are not in when they call, you will be given the chance to arrange a re-delivery free of charge. If they do not hear from you and have no luck in delivering the package it will be returned to us. If this happens we will contact you and a re-delivery charge will be requested before the parcel can be sent out again. If you no longer require the item then we will arrange a refund less the out going postage and a 10% handling charge. Availability All in stock items are dispatched as soon as cleared funds are received, usually within 24 hours. Some items are bought to order or may need re-stocking therefore may take up to 7/10 days before dispatching, if this is the case we will usually send your complete order in one parcel, you will be notified of the expected dispatch date for your order after it is received. Bulk pet food and most cages are bought to order and will be dispatched by courier on the Tuesday/Wednesday following receipt of your order providing we receive your order before 11.30am on Monday. 'Special order' items are subject to a longer dispatch period however this information is given on the product info page for those specific items. We cannot be more specific about a dispatch date as this is dependant upon the manufacturer. We will notify you when these items have dispatched. Please note that 'special order' items cannot be cancelled once paid for. Packaging Where possible 'South Coast Pet Supplies' keeps packaging to a minimum and uses recycled material. Parcel Not Arrived? If your parcel has not arrived within 14 working days from the date of dispatch please feel free to contact us, we always obtain receipt of postage for this purpose and because of this we do not replace lost items but will assist you with a claim. We do not file a lost item claim ourselves but will provide all the necessary information for you to complete the form yourselves, and can provide a scanned copy of the proof of postage if requested. Please note the Post Office will not follow up a lost item complaint until 15 working days have passed. Larger parcels are sent via a courier who will require a signature on delivery however if the worst happens they use tracking numbers so it should be easily traced. Damaged Parcel? Occasionally a parcel will be damaged in the post, you should refuse delivery if the damage is obvious, it will then be returned to us for a replacement. Please notify us if this should happen so we are aware of the problem. If you have accepted the parcel then please contact us immediately so we can arrange for the parcel to be returned and a replacement to be sent.
